Since 2006 CiaoLapo charity supported more than 10.000 families after the loss of their babies during pregnancy and after birth. We also trained more than 6.000 healthcare professionals in order to improve perinatal assistance in Italy and to improve respectful care for bereaved mothers and fathers. CiaoLapo mainly works through its website and several social media channels: sharing stories and experiences and increasing the availability of resources for parents and professionals lead to an important change in cultural framework, allowing parents and professionals to discuss this sensitive topic and to improve their skills.
